.

BREAKTHROUGH... after a long build up of tension,
like a swollen river breaking through its obstruction,
the influence of inferior people is in remission.
The activity of superior people is in resolution.
Bring out the truth, "Danger!" "Revelation!"
It is necessary to inform the public, "Exposition!"

Resolutely bring things out in litigation
but do not attempt any "forceful" opposition.
Even one inferior in an authoritative position
can suppress a superior person's aspiration.
And if in the heart there lurks a single passion...
Therein exists the power to obscure reason.

For good to prevail there's need of clarification
of definite rules that will require our adhesion:
1) Expose discrepancies with discerning revelation.
2) Don't force a play into the hands of opposition
(especially if we have no power of resolution).
3) Not compromising with evil brings good fortune.
4) Resolution must be in strong and friendly unison.
5) Our own faults can't be glossed over in omission
(We need to "clean up our act" and imperfection
so the opponent can't use them as ammunition).

BUT...
In combating our faults without proper supervision
we may find ourselves in an overwhelming situation
where failure can result in discredit and dissolution.
Doing good is the best way to overcome perdition.

THE LINES

NINE AT BOTTOM:
One starts out proudly without preparation.
Starts are trying despite strong intention.
One will not succeed or avoid recrimination.
Advancing at this time is not good fortune.
Make sure you're equal to the task in notion.
A mistake now may never find resolution.
Before starting... You better rethink this one.

NINE IN SECOND PLACE:
Armed evening & night. Fearing none.
Readiness is everything. Resolution
is inextricably bound up with caution.
One is careful. Keeping wits about one.
Endangered: No need for apprehension.
The superior is on guard, in preparation,
against that which is not yet in vision.
If one develops a proper disposition
people will submit of their own volition.

NINE IN THIRD PLACE:
Twitching jaw muscles bring misfortune.
One is caught in the rain and all alone.
One is bespattered and they deride one.
Here we have one in ambitious situation
as others are engaged in resolute action
against one that is of weak disposition.
If one were to join in against this one
(before time is right for opposition)
one would endanger entire operation
for the weak could counter the action.
One must remain of firm self-conviction
while associating with the weak one
& not have any part in any indiscretion.
Sociating with inferiors sullies reputation
in the eyes of the general population
who you're as weak as your companion
and they will break and act in treason.
One survives this lack of appreciation
by maintaining one's self actualization.

NINE IN THE FOURTH PLACE:
Inner conflict: this situation does entail.
Upon one's inner anxiety one cannot dwell.
One wants to advance but it's inscrutable
(the obstacle is one's own obstinate will).
If one would desist things would go well.
But this, like many other good counsel,
"One is like a cup that is already full."

NINE AT FIFTH PLACE MEANS:
Calm thoroughness will show us the way.
To master a strong obstacle or adversary
great determination is always necessary.
The roots of opposition run every way.
Unless completely eradicated they may
spring back to taunt and get in the way.

SIX AT THE TOP IS ABOUT:
There is misfortune in not crying out
for there is an evil to be rooted out.
This requires caution in carrying out
for this dark nature has enough clout
to silence those who try to call out.
This is something we can do without
for if neglected... Evil will sprout.
