45. UNION

The gathering together of people is a situation
where members join for a shared ambition.
This can be a common heritage reunion,
religious congregation, family gathering,
artificial society, or business organization.

As fathers normally head the family union...
Such gatherings require religious devotion,
certainty, a firm leader, & common aspiration
to bring focus to the group's organization.
In order to be able to bring others to Union
it requires a firm leader in godly communion.
It's a historic fact that extreme action
requires people uniting under moral sanction
like water to a lake that gathers in union.
Thus the superior one renews one's weapon
to prepare for the unforeseen and unknown.

A lake can also swell to breaching. Dissolution.
Similarly when many come together in union
there is always danger of factionalization.
Where there exists possessions and collection
there is danger of envy and misapprehension.
Shock & loss must be prevented in preparation.
We must take everything into consideration
to ward off that which is not in expectation.
Understanding the dynamics of acting in union
with the time lay in centered meditation.

Whether you are a leader or member of a union
your commitment to the union and its ambition
is vital to your well being and aspiration.
During assembly every member of the union
must support unity & be of the same ambition.
Differing goals foment disunity and faction.
Ethics and rules enforce the group's motivation
toward moral principals and persevering action.

In a business, or a political organization,
the leader must be of honorable intention
and goals must be of honorable execution.
Expand awareness through self-observation.
Notice the fabric of family and social relation.
Think about the quality of your own interaction.
Interact with those in authority at this occasion.
Sincerity and perseverance is your commission.
Sacrifice may be required for good fortune.

SIX AT THE BOTTOM:
In a large group some may waver
because they lack a firm center.
One grasp by the hand of a firm leader
is enough to dispel all disorder.
They need not stray further.

SIX IN SECOND PLACE:
Here someone's drawn into taking part.
Progress! (If one is "heart-to-heart").
Even small things one may impart.
By an unseen tide Union is wrought.
We must yield to it and take part
so that we won't be found at fault.
Where deep commonality is a part
people will relate from the start
(as God loves simple "gifts of heart").

SIX IN THE THIRD PLACE:
Your desire to join it is thwarted
as you attempt to penetrate it.
If it is that desperately needed...
Align yourself with someone respected.

NINE IN THE FOURTH PLACE:
This describes one who gathers the community
together in the name of a Celebrity or a Propriety.
Here one is not striving for selfish opportunity.
One's efforts are crowned with opportunity.
Everything is in harmony... as it should be.

NINE IN THE FIFTH PLACE:
Spontaneous gathering brings success & harmony
where someone exerts a certain influence, usefully.
If, when in gathering together, one has "property"
there may be some not contributing with sincerity.
As a matter-of-fact there is a possibility
that some may join only for sake of opportunity.
Sublime, enduring, perseverance is necessary.
The only way to gain face is to hold to duty.
In this way secret mistrust is gradually
overcome leaving one no need to be sorry.

SIX AT THE TOP:
Due to misunderstood intention
any approach toward union
will be met with rejection
resulting in frustration.
Insightful contemplation
of the cause of the contention
might help us facilitate a union.
