As water follows thunder, in shimmering ripples,
Yin follows the Yang of its choice and principles. Every relationship, be they friends or individuals,
Allowing ourselves to drift where the wind goes
Having clear agendas and intentions, free of egos,
This helps to avoid unseen reef and undertows

54. RELATIONS:THE LINES
NINE AT THE BOTTOM: A personal relationship with a prince results in being taken into confidence. Outwardly one must persevere
tactfully
Although one is hampered by this
status
NINE IN THE SECOND PLACE: Partners should function like a pair of eyes. They should work together... Synchronize. Here one is left behind... with lonely eyes. Ones inner light, and resolve, is the only prize. SIX IN THE THIRD PLACE: Here a person longs too much for joy that can't be obtained the usual way. A compromising strategy is necessary. NINE IN THE FOURTH PLACE: One virtuously holds to ones integrity allowing the customary time for unity. One is rewarded for such purity by finding intended partner (belatedly). SIX IN THE FIFTH PLACE: Here we see a person of sophistication marrying a person of modest station adapting, with grace, to the new situation. SIX AT THE TOP: The woman holds a basket ...There are no fruits in it. The man stabs the pelt ...No blood flows from it. They're not making it ...Or they're just faking it. |
