63. PERFECT EQUILIBRIUM

Here disorder changes to order
as things move to their proper lair.
Transition from old to new is here.
Strong lines are in places proper.
Weak lines are in positions weaker.
All the lines move up-ladder.
All are creating a new order.
All the lines follow each other.
Each one according to their nature.
It is good that things are in reorder.
But we must pause to consider:
In reaching out for perfect order
things can revert to disorder.
The dynamics of water over fire
is something we should all consider.
Take a kettle of water over a fire.
See the elements resulting in ardor.
This affair requires great care
for fire can boil the water over
putting out the fire & losing water.

Remember

Fire & water can work together
or neutralize each other.

Therefore

The wise will continue to monitor
unless complacency brings danger
and decadence brings disorder.

63. EQUILIBRIUM: The Lines

9 AT BOTTOM: No regret.
The break is applied.
Swift progress is forfeit.
Read the signs and quit.
Face it. You may lose it.
But don' worry 'boud it.

SIX IN SECOND PLACE:
Due to arrogance n' conceit
others are in the drivers seat.
One wants a chance to do it.
But we are warned against it.
On seventh day you'll get it.

NINE IN THIRD PLACE MEANS:
It's possible to gain with ambitious bent.
It will take long and you'll be spent.
For what it's worth... Success is meant.
Be advised. Take into employment
only those fit for your movement.

SIX IN FOURTH PLACE:
When the time comes to flower
some spasm is bound to occur.
When evil is brought to exposure
it causes a tremendous furor.
Since the whole shows favor...
Such evils can be looked over
but the wise will continue to monitor
so things don't escalate to war.

NINE IN FIFTH PLACE MEANS:
An ox is slaughtered by a neighbor
who is not as gratified as another
who made smaller sacrificial offer.
Simple forms of sacrifice are
better than more pretentious offer.
God sees into hearts inner core.

SIX AT THE TOP:
One's over ones head! Danger!
